Does the car have to be level when changing the transmission fluid?

Why would you want to touch the fluid on a brand new car under warranty???
"The fluid level should be checked when the car is level". So measuring the fluid level correctly after the fluid is changed is what's important, not necessarily "how level was the car when you changed it".
