Im wanting to buy a 2500 ram tradesman 4x4 in the future one for towing but two for gas. Are there any things i should look out for or be aware of? Pros and cons?

The electronics on the Dodge products are terrible. Definitely watch for that. The other thing is, you may consider Ford or GM over RAM 2500.

I would only be looking at the Ram 2500 with the Cummins diesel and Allison trans.

My dad has a 2016 Cummins Ram 2500 that he got slightly used, he is in the oil field, and he has put about 80k miles on it in 2 years. He hasn’t had any problems with it so far, it’s a powerful truck for sure. I’m not sure about his mileage but I don’t think it’s awful. However he has run mostly highway miles, so that could be why he hasn’t had problems.
