2GR-FKS Oil sensor flicker and chirping noise

Owner in a Toyota Sienna Facebook group posted problem with a 2017 with 227K mi (previous 2007 ran to 400K until traded in). It has a flickering/intermittent oil sensor message which started to occur immediately following a "tune-up".

1st mechanic, oil pressure sensor got replaced, no help.

2nd "trusted" 20 year Toyota mechanic finally suggested a $1200 module replacement until pressed about the chirping noise and then concluded oil pump.

Proposed group solutions have included failure of pressure relief valve by filter and some tube in the oil filter housing getting discarded during a change.  For just the chirping, possibly from contaminated belt.

I'm aware that the 2GR-FKS is used in a large number of models and that there may be some technical bulletins on the issue.

As a former U of I alum during the Garcia Bros Flying Tomato AMC Pacer delivery car era, I humbly request your input to help this poor working woman with a monster commute avoid an unneeded expensive repair.

Has the actual oil pressure been verified with a mechanical gauge?

Lot of missing answers as to mechanics actions. Don't know if that seemingly obvious check was done which could lead to what to look at next.

That's the first thing that should have been done to see if there's really an internal engine problem.

What does a full system scan reveal?  What code(s) come up?  You need a scan tool than can scan every system on board - a local auto parts store like Autozone or O’Reilly’s should have one that you can get the vehicle scanned for free.
