We stopped using the motorized option on both sides long ago, when the passenger side cable snapped. Both sides worked fine manually until now. The drivers side cable recently snapped and now that door will not open at all. The passenger side has no issues and still works manually. Thoughts?

without seeing your car, my guess would be the cable is catching. So replace or remove it. Either way you'll probably have to remove some trim, and get in there with a flashlight to see what's wrong.
