Hey Scotty , I'm from 🇬🇧 uk. I've a 2008 toyota Auris (Corolla ) 1.3 petrol manual. When turning left on full lock I can hear a grinding noise from the drivers front wheel. It's been to a independent toyota specialist and they said "car is all good nothing wrong with it ". 2nd - mostly when cold and taking off from 1st gear into 2nd there would be cunch into 2nd and be quiet stiff. What about Scotty the grind/crunch going from 1st gear to 2nd gear from the gear stick. ?
Well, it doesn't only when you turn a full left that's stretching the suspension as far as it can go. And any little minor thing like a slightly weak ball joint can make a crunching noise. Can even be the strut mount. Make a little crunching noise if you doing a pinpoint it watch my video finding the source of car noises Scotty
