Hi there, 2013 infiniti G37x for a while I thought I had a exhuast leak until I took my car to a exhuast shop and a guy took my car put it up and he touched the control arm. It looked abit loose and did some research because my car has made an annoying  tap in drive or manual mode for quite some time now on the passenger side. Tapped the piece itself and it made the exact noise! Doing some research it appears to be a control arm from what I'm guessing and either the bushing has gone bad since it seemed flimisy or loose or something else is hitting the control arm when I put my car into drive! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e1j3veCQohjMMZR1TwIibM6WHirQEr8O/view?usp=sharing {black}:idontknow:

planning to take it in to the good dealership that's treated me like at least as well tomorrow but I'd love to have a second opinion as well!

Unless you can find a replacement bushing AND somebody who’s willing to press it into the existing control arm, you’re just better off buying a new control arm.

Also, check all the engine and transmission mounts, while you’re in there.

You don’t need to go to the dealer, a good quality aftermarket one should work just fine -

Don’t forget to get a front end alignment post the control arm repair/replacement.

Thanks Thrust, Surprisingly they said the car is great! Nothing is wrong but they did say it's most likely a ticking from the vvel timing since the mechanic who worked on my car said he has a daily drive like mine it's getting colder and apparently does the same thing? If anything I just feel better from them checking everything out telling me the car is in great condition! 🙂

All the best.
