I own a 2014 Nissan Altima S with about 98k miles on it. I have no accident history, but when I go past 60 mph driving, the steering wheel shakes almost like I'm about to lose control of it and swerve off the road. It's prevented me from going on the highway since I fear losing control at any minute and crashing. Going under that speed there's no issue.

Wow! That's technically called a speed wobble.  have the front tires checked first to see if they have broken a belt or have bulges in them and when you spin them they wobble. If that's the case, you need new tires. Now. If you don't see anything when you spit them, they could be out of balance. Have the balance check when they're out of balance. They will wobble like that. And if you are having them balanced at the front end shack when it's up in the air on a lift because you can have worn ball joints. Worn tie rods or any kind of worn suspension bushing. But normally it's just the tires

@scottykilmer Thank you so much! I think that's exactly the issue. Do you know how much it will cost, though?
