Were the 2nd gen Nissan Pathfinders with the VQ35DE V6 worse in reliability than the 3.3L? The 3.5 replaced the 3.3 in Pathfinders from 01-04 and had a big power boost from like 168 hp to around 240-250 hp.

The 3.5 were alright. Some of the newer 3.5 V6 have timing chain issues but other than that pretty solid engine back then.
