Good afternoon everyone hope all is well. Question: Would installing a 3 inch Y-Pipe to a V6 Grand Cherokee worth it if other modifications were done? I have a buddy at work he has a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the V6 what all he did to it was similar to mine Afe Momentum cold air intake, throttle body spacer and 80mm throttle body, 3 inch exhaust diameter after a 2.5 inch Y-Pipe and 3 inch muffler. He wants to upgrade the Y-Pipe to a 3 inch and was wondering if there would be any gains or loss in performance.
worth it for what? You're not going to win any prizes at the race track with your Jeep. Mods will just make it more unreliable.

Any gains will likely be minimal, and most likely will trip your check engine light. It's also Jeep Grand Cherokee, not a Mustang or some other sports/muscle car. If your coworker wants to do that kind of modding, get a GT Mustang. They have a lot more potential than a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
