Hello Scotty,

I hope you are well

I have a little dilemma/situation regarding two 3rd generation Lexus RX's.

RX450h (Hybrid)  V6 :  29,800 mi    MPG:  30 city, 28 Hwy, 29 Combined
RX350 (Non-Hybrid)  V6 :  74K mi.   MPG:  18 city, 24 Hwy, 20 Combined

Both drive very differently from one another.
Wondering which one you would prefer?
I know this is very general, but I can go into specifics if I see you.  I need to sell one.

Thank you for your time.

what I prefer doesn't matter.

It comes down to a simple question ... do you like power, or do you like low fuel cost?

I see your point, but technically, the RX450h has 295hp and the RX350 has 270hp.  The 450h is abo 0.5 sec. faster from 0-60 mph.

Thank you.

Never mind the numbers. I suggest taking them both for a test drive on the highway and try overtaking a few cars to get a feel for it.
Of course with the hybrid you have to remember about the battery. Is it original? Expect a large bill when it comes time to replace it when it's 10-15 years old.

Thank you for your input.

The 450h only has 30k mi; so I am pretty certain that it's the original battery.

Both are very reliable vehicles, and liked by their owners.

How long do you plan to keep it? If a very, very long time, the 350 may win out over the Hybrid.

Do you need the money from the sale? If so that should be factored into your decision.

I think this is more your choice than anything. I don't think you will get a lot of direction as far as one being much better, in terms of reliability than the other.

If you drive a lot, comfort. and mpg comes into the equation.

Which one do you like better?
