I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro (automatic) What are you thoughts on regearing?
from factory, the truck feels like it’s hunting for the next gear.

Do not do that. Besides voiding your warranty, you are looking at messing with the car which need to be done by professionals and cost a fortune if done properly, and yet you do not know how reliable this modification can be. You better off finding another car to buy.
