Hello Scotty, I’m 16 and I got my first car. It’s a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta 5 speed 2.5 2010 motor in it. I was wondering if you could give feedback on wether it’s a dependable car to get me through my next 2 years of high school.

How many miles does it have and have you had a mechanic check it out?
The manual transmission is a good thing but VW's arent known for their reliability. If it is low miles and you don't drive far you may be ok. Just keep it maintained as best you can.

If it is maintained it could do 2 years but don't expect to get high miles out of a daily driver VW.
