Any comments on this engine. I'm looking at an older RV 1985 Winnebago with 4-cylinder turbo diesel “J8S-234” Engine. It has 108,000 miles on it. It has a 4-speed manual transmission. It looks in good condition but of course concerned about the reliability of the engine and transmission - its history.

Well it's old as the hills and many rubber things are probably right seals but those diesel engines are pretty good engines unless all the seals start leaking then you'll have to rebuild all that too
