Scotty,
I have a 4 year old Sienna SE with 28,800 miles running slightly rich. Short term trims improved somewhat with a new air filter. I am planning on running the Royal purple injector cleaner through a tank of gas to see if that helps the injectors.
Short Term Fuel 1 is: -0.78 to -1.5
Short Term Fuel 2 is: -0.78 to -1.5
Long Term Fuel 1 is: -7 to -8.5
Long Term Fuel 2 is: -1.5 to -2.5
Any other ideas what it could be or am I being a fanatic? Also, I change the oil once a year (6200-6800 miles usually) - should I be doing it more frequently even though toyota says once a year or 10000 miles?
Thanks, Joe from Edmonton
Well for the short-term fuel trims are being a fanatic but for a long term that one bank is rather off. So I would say the best thing to do is to buy some of my friend Bernie's ATS fuel cleaner. He's an Albuquerque, New Mexico, but if you Google Bernie Albuquerque New Mexico fuel treatment, you'll find the stuff's phenomenal and pray that that cleaner will fix it
