I often see u recommend this Van but which years are best and worst from your experience as a mechanic?

The 1st gen (1997-2003) had oil sludge issues.

I'd be a little careful with the 2nd gen (2004-2010). Most have high milage and repairs could be foreshadowing.

Siennas are generally long lasting vehicles. Aside from oil sludge in 1st generation they're indestructible as long you maintain it with good quality oil and filter change every 5,000 miles (not 10k miles). Maintenance is the most important than years.
