I am looking for a full size van for long distance cross country travel. Since Toyota doesn’t make one, what make/model would you recommend? Diesel or Gas. Looking for used.

Your problem is you want something bigger than a Toyota and unfortunately almost all the large size Vans have problems. Mercedes used to make really good one but they've had problems lately and of course Ford Chrysler and GM have been making crap for years. If I had to pick I'd say a Ford but I tried to make a sienna work by taking the seats and everything out
