Would you advise avoiding mild hybrid technology - 48 volt?
If I have the choice out of a petrol hybrid with 48 volt mild hybrid VS Diesel emissions software.
[which is more complex/problematic with age]?

The 48 volt mild hybrid is more problematical, especially if you're talking about a stalantis product. I would go with the regular hybrid
