67 Camaro ,4L80e, car on the hoist, in gear,rpm up,speedo works, wheels move . put car on the ground car won't move. tach move ,speedo move won't move. what is wrong. New fluid , new filter.

Well my first question is did it ever move with that transmission bolted on. It could be the wrong transmission or the torque converter doesn't bold up right? Doesn't fit up right. It's obviously not moving under load, which means either the torque converter isn't doing its job or the transmission you put in is a clunker
The trans came out of a truck that ran. It bolted up right ,fit in the car. youcan feel when the trans goes into gear,rpmfall off for the stall.there are no noise from the trans. I added more fluid ,didn't change.the controller shows each gear when you shift, goes in reverse. could it be the pump?
