Hello !
I have a 2018 Toyota 4Runner LTD. Just rolled to 90,000 miles. Runs great but recently I was told from tire rotation shop that my shocks/suspension is leaking and possibly $2000+ pre shock to get replacements.
Is there any alternative service or less expensive way without compromising the quality of the ride ?
Can I choose to put lower cost shocks on or is there such as things as "used" shocks ?
At what point will I be doing damage to any other parts of the vehicle assembly if I wait ?
Thanks !!

You might want to get a second opinion. I doubt that personnel at a tire shop are experts on that suspension.

possibly $2000+ pre shock to get replacements.
That's ridiculous. Find a real mechanic to do it.
