Hey Scotty. I’m deciding between a 4Runner or a Tacoma. Is the 4Runner a better vehicle since it’s made in Japan? Also the 4Runners in California are still selling for over msrp. I can get one for msrp but I can get a Tacoma for under msrp?
Well the forerunner is better made. tacomas are now made in Mexico
- It really depends on what you're planning on using the vehicle for I personally like SUVs a lot better than pickup trucks
I think the question to answer is "will you ever use the bed?" Many people buy pickup trucks because they are cooler and perceived as "manly" vehicles. If you think you'll ever realistically use the bed, buy a truck. If you only go to the furniture store once a season, it's cheaper to have whatever you buy delivered to your home. If you think you won't ever realistically use the bed, just get an SUV.
True and funny story here. I have a customer who just moved to the US from the UK. She asked why people here buy trucks but never use the bed or tow anything. It's counterproductive.
