I have the typical cracked exhaust mainifold on the passenger side of my 2003 V8 4runner. Do you need to slightly lift the motor to get to the lower 4 manifold studs? If so, is it okay to just loosen the passenger side motor mount and jack that side up a few inches?

Yes but you are better loosening the bolts on both mount s so it lifts up easier
