I was looking at a 2010 f150 5.4 L V8 with 112k miles. This engine seems to get a lot of mixed opinions on reliability. Is it worth getting?

That's the one that spits out spark plugs isn't it.

If your goal is to keep that vehicle for a long time and put hundreds of thousands of miles on it, I’d stay far away. Not worth it!

CarWizard is pretty good. I watch his videos a lot, just like Scotty’s. Lots of good insight.

The video above pertains to the 3-valve 5.4L version. The 2-valve versions and the 4.6 L were decent.
- Thank you for all the info!! So are the 4.6 L and the 5.0 coyote a good reliable options?
