Hi Scotty,

I have a 2001 Chevy 3500HD 6.6 Duramax Turbo Diesel single cab dump truck with 135,000 miles and an automatic transmission. It has been "sticking" a lot randomly while driving down the road, it won't let me accelerate nor reduce much speed. Doesn't not seem to be a transmission issue. But not sure what it could be.

Also, when we pop the hood open there is thin white smoke that shoots out by engine fan. No black smoke or thick smoke. Please advise, no one seems to find anything.

Already responded to this one but basically you want to check the electronics on that diesels are All made electronically and could have a failure there
