Hi Scotty, had 65 mustang 6cyl 96k miles, have recent starter and alternator. now new battery, regulator, headlight wiring harness, add'l engine to firewall ground. But when turn key, 1 big click like starter is engaging, then nothing, not even alternator light, and then nothing works, not even headlight. Not sure what to do next. Any suggestion appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried hot-wiring the starter solenoid and ignition as a test? On a 60-year-old car the ignition switch would be highly suspect.
That car has a super-simple electrical system compared to anything built today. You'll need to do some basic electrical troubleshooting using a test light or voltmeter, using a wiring diagram as a guide.
