Hi Scott I have a 1968 Plymouth fury 3 with a 318 and a 3spd automatic transmission, when I bought it, the car hadn't run or moved for 20 year's. I got the car running and driving but I want to rebuild the motor and transmission and was wondering if you had any input on anything I should do and to make sure I do the rebuild right. And maybe if you have additional pointers to make it get up and go fast too. Thanks, jack

Nice vehicle as long as rust doesn't get to it! Be careful of the torsion bar anchors, if those rot away the car is basically done for. Probably the best place to start on your rebuild project would be to buy a factory shop manual for that car. You might supplement that with a period Chilton's or Motor's manual. Back then those books were pretty comprehensive and sometimes had tips on how to do things without special factory tools.
