Hi Scotty,

I have a 2001 F350 crew cab 7.3l powerstroke, automatic transmission and 144,000 miles. I have always wanted to hear from you about your experiences with 7.3l powerstroke engines.

Assuming the truck itself isn't a disaster on the interior, rust, etc. that's a great truck with at least half of its life left in it. A lot of guys would kill for one.

Feather the throttle and take good care of it, don't lope tune it or anything stupid like that and you'll have a truck for years to come in the future.

They generally held up quite well the transmission so we usually good for maybe 250,000 miles but the engines went off and last much longer.

The 7.3L is a very desirable engine. Very dependable and long lasting. The only issue is finding a good one for reasonable money.

Maybe he'll sell it to me {black}:blushed:

Slow, loud, rough, and darn near indestructible. These days, a 7.3 in good shape is very desirable.
