Well what happened is i changed the steering column of my 82 fox body (because the original broke) for what i thought would be a good fit, an 83 mustang steering column, but i just cant get the electrical stuff figured, anything im missing?
What do you mean electrical? Like ignition and turn signals? Does yours come with cruze control and the like? If so, the electrical connections could be traced. What you can do is find out what wires from your car correspond with the wiring on the column. After that it's just a matter of making sure everything is pinned out correctly. It may look like a plug and play but actually have a different pin here and there so the electronics couldn't function. I would suggest looking up the wiring diagrams of both the OG and the replacement and your main harness to see if they all match up, and then go from there.
