Have an 87 nova/Corolla - 70,000 miles - driving down residential road it just died out - cranks but won’t start - changed distributer and messed around with it a bit before taking to mechanics. They said was timing chain which I argued with them about and they were adamant that’s what it was - so I agreed - they changed it and Still no start - same problem - they also changed distributor again - have a video of it trying to start - I’ll try to post - supposed to be a car for the kids to learn to drive but instead it’s taking up space in the garage and it’s jot even pretty enoug for that - please help

Boy the mechanics you're dealing with are sure idiots. Start with my video fixing a car that cranks but doesn't start up Scotty
