Hello, we have a ‘88 Ford Thunderbird with a misfire. Basically when you first start it when it’s cold it runs decent. But, as it warms up, it starts to miss on one cylinder. (Also when you give it gas it sounds like almost 2 cylinders.) Also the gas is a few years old by now. How can we mend this?

Fresh fuel and addressing the fuel injection system would be the first place I would start.
Actually, we did check the fuel injectors and all of them seem to be ticking.
