Hey do you know how to change a gear shift solenoid on a 91 2.3 mustang? I’m buying it from my dads friend. It has around 103,000 miles automatic. All it needs is the gear shift solenoid replaced and a camber alignment. I’m buying it for 2.8k is that a good price for me?

The solenoids are going to be located in the main control valve body of the transmission. It isn't a super quick fix, but there are videos out there on how to do it. You will actually need 2 solenoids. SS-1 and SS-2.
For a four cylinder Mustang, $2000 would be my tops. I would pay even less considering it needs immediate work, but if you love it and that's all that is wrong with it go ahead. I'd still have a mechanic check it out before I bought it though.
