So my car has been slipping into neutral when I come to a stop it doesn't do it every time but when it does sometimes I haft to put it into another gear to get it going. Then other times I'll be pushing the gas and it'll shift into gear. Otherwise it goes through the gears just fine doesn't slip at all, clean Transmission fluid and new tranny filter.

Pray that you need a new transmission range sensor assembly on the transmission and not a new transmission it could be either

Are you talking about the speed sensor on the transmission?

I've never hurd of that part before.

It's basically the switch operated by the transmission shift lever. Newer Chevys have an OBD2 code for it. Location varies by year and model.
