My '92 F-150 with 85,000 miles brake pedal goes soft sometimes when I am stopped.
It also fails to drop the engine idle when the clutch is pushed in sometimes.

Thinking the brake booster might be starting to go bad or the brake fluid might have some air contamination. Might try flushing the brake fluid and doing a thorough bleeding first.
