I have a 94 gt celica. Recenlty it started making a vibration when i get past 2k-3k Rpm only in 1st and 2nd gear (manual). (under hood) newspark plugs and spark plug wires. Transmission mounts year old.
Front - Pads and rotors are year old about. polyurethane control arm bushings year old. Pick n pull control arm (left side). Clutch and cv joints were done "professionally" about 2 years old. Steering has already been out of wack and I think it could be tierods. Moog Sway bay links about a year old. Moog ball joints about a year old. A year and a half ago the tire did fall off ddnt cause to much damage to the eye(reason what work was done).
Back - brake pads and rotors. I haven't changed the transmission fluid since buying it maybe 15k-20k miles ago (at 250k miles) I don't know if the previous owner did either. Also about 4 months ago I drove from oregon to Arizona with no new problems arising. I love this car and I don't want to get rid of it so I'm hoping you can help with info i have since you are really the only other person with a celica lol.
Well, if it's only doing it first and second gear and not the other gears I would assume first and second gear are wearing out inside the transmission. Anything else? It's going to vibrate and all gears when you go. Not just first and second. First and second gears are often the first ones to go out
