I just purchased a 1994 Acura Legend GS sedan with a six speed manual transmission with 144K miles. I am planning to fly out to Washington state, where the car is currently located, and drive the car back to North Carolina.
I would like your opinion of the car and my plan to drive it across the country. I would also love to make a detour through Tennesse on my way home and have you check the car over. I think Scotty will still be up North then. You should hire a mechanic to go over the car before you take that long a trip in it. Check brake pads, tires. For leaks. Etc,,,
I agree with Thumpy. If a mechaic has not checked the car yet, you better do that before driving it for a long distance. The last thing you want is to get stranded in the middle of nowhere.
