Scotty I have a 94 Celica with 36,000 miles for $12,000. should I get it everything on there is OEM I have scan for trouble codes after I took it for a 30 min drive it is black and no rust if you had had yours for years the one I want to buy has to be good huh?
$12K for a 27 year old car, what in the world are you smoking???
If you had been paying attention you might have noticed that the odometer on those old Toyotas only had a 5 digit odometer (plus tenths). The car you're looking at has at least 136,000 miles, not 36,000 miles.
Talk about a "crack pipe price"! That's about $10,000 too high. Unless it has gold bars in the trunk I'd run away from that deal.
Should I talk down the price?
You should have it checked out by an honest, independent mechanic then, if it checks out, offer the seller $1500.
