‘94 Toyota Pickup 5th Gear Vibrations

Hey Scotty, I have a 1994 Toyota Pickup 4X4 V6 Manual transmission with 234,000+ miles. When I am on the freeway and shift into 5th gear, whether I am going 60mph or 80mph AS SOON AS I put it into 5th gear the whole truck vibrates pretty bad. The vibration does seem to not vibrate as bad when I hit 70 and keep climbing to 80mph, BUT it still has a vibration. It vibrates BAD/worse with pressure to the gas peddle to speed up VS “driving like there are egg shells under the gas peddle”. All the drive shafts joints are all tight, the transmission expert says it can’t be the transmission but no one has any idea of what I can be. I can be going 50-80mph and zero vibration but the SECOND I put it in 5th the truck vibrates bad. I push the clutch in, and it immediately stops. Going down hills seems to mitigate the vibrations since it’s not “under load”. I don’t know if this is relevant to the issue, but going up steep inclines in any gear higher than 3rd is next to impossible. Really, 4th gear struggles on mountain hills in 2wd as well (but no vibrations). 4WD high and low have zero issues (though I never put it in 5th gear in 4WD high or low). I love this truck and am NOT getting rid of it so, new transmission isn’t a concern, but like you said “I’ve never seen a Toyota transmission break”. Aany help would be much appreciated! Thanks a million!!!

Well fifth gear is just wearing out you put in a check because it's wild because it's worn out don't use it and if you don't use it it may last a long time but if you use it eventually will break off
