95 Celica battery light

I have a 95 Toyota Celica 1.8 5spd. The battery light came on and won't turn off for anything. I put in a new battery and alternator and also changed the blue 100amp alternator fuse because the wire in it was green and crusty looking. I checked the voltage with a multimeter and its 14.3 to the battery posts at idle, so its charging and runs fine but the light stays on. I looked around at all the wires I could find for corrosion but didn't really notice anything. Not sure what else to try

Well you have to trace the whole wiring back and forth to find what the problem is. No I assume it did that before and after the new alternator was put on because often it's the alternator that makes that light go on even if it's charging right it might not be putting out enough amps. So if I were you I'd pay a mechanic with fancy equipment like I have to load test the alternator and check it out thoroughly cuz it could just be a bad alternator off in the rebuilt ones aren't repaired correctly
