Hi, Scotty
Owned a 02 Lexus GS300 for a few years, recently the battery light keeps coming on, I changed a few alternators from junkyard, and then replaced one from my friends car (which doesn't have the issue), even then the light on my car wouldn't turn off. I checked the continuity on the harness, everything seems to be normal.
Please help, I don't want to invest in a new alternator

Well personally I would never use a junkyard alternator. You have no idea whether they work or not. All you have to do is take the alternator off and take it to a store that tests them and you will see if the alternator is good or bad. If it is not bad then either the wiring is bad or you have a computer module failure
