my 1995 nissan altima starts but than dies within seconds every once in a while it’ll stay on for a min if it’s been sitting but then it sputters out and dies. when it does stay on its rough idle and shakes the whole car and than dies. As soon as I give it gas it sputters out and die every time. Spark plugs are new limited money so haven’t bought a bunch of stuff for it yet just in case it wasn’t the solution. I’m thinking it’s not getting enough spark any suggestions?
Have you checked compression to verify the internal condition of the engine? Cleaned throttle body and MAF? How old are the air and fuel filters? Is fuel pressure OK? Fuel injectors clogged? Any vacuum leaks?
