Hello everyone, the automatic transmission in my 86 corvette is starting to go bad and I am entertaining the possibility of manual swapping it. What transmissions work on this engine? Also, what cars could those transmissions be taken from?

Anything is possible as long as you have the money for it.
What transmissions work on this engine?
Nash 4+3 manual.
I saw that one, but I don't really like the overdrive system because it is one more thing to break. Are the any conventional five or six speeds that you know would work in the vette?
There is the ZF 6-speed manual that was used in later models but they were mated to the LT motors. You can still try and go for it if you want to.
