95' Toyota Camry XLE, 1MZ-FE replaceing fuel lines

Topic starter

1995 TOYOTA CAMRY XLE, 1MZ-FE ~143,000 miles

So took my car to my mechanic and he quoted worse case scenario, upwards to $4,000 for replacing fuel lines, fill stem, fuel pump, and gaskets. It's clear he doesn't want to do it. What is the viability of doing nylon fuel lines myself? I primarily looking to get by until I can save up or car price inflation lessens (I know I'm dreaming on the latter)

Sincerely,

S. I.

Sure anybody can replace parts as long as you can buy them you can replace them. And if you wanted you could get a high pressure rubber fuel line and replace it all with rubber and clamps
