Hi all!
So, i'm needing to replace a throttle body unit on a '96 3.4 Tacoma and I can't find an OEM replacement part online. However, someone suggested replacing it with a 4Runner, but i'm not sure which years are compatible with the Tacoma, if at all. I appreciate all your valuable info as always 🙂

They should be interchangeable as first gen tacoma and third gen 4Runners had the same engine.

It isn't clear to me, from the post, whether you have the actual OEM part member. Do you? If not, call a dealership parts department and ask for the OEM part number, using your VIN as the identifier. (There's less chance for mistake).
