Hi,
I recently purchased a '96 4Runner with 230k miles from a private party. The truck seems in really good shape, minimal rust for a Minnesota car, and has service records back to 2012. I know these things don't need much, but what should be paying attention to and doing consistently if I want this truck to last to 400-500k? Already planning on replacing the lower ball joints, which is a known issue for the 3rd gens.
Thanks

Oh just do the normal Toyota maintenance use Toyota pink coolant change it every 7 years or 100,000 miles change all the gear differential transmission oil once every 50,000 miles or so and just keep an eye on belt hoses any rubber that can be rotten and go bad
