97 Acura Cl Standard Transmission

Hey scotty, I have a 97 acura cl 2.2 l, with 142767 miles on it, I want it to be my daily driver for the next few years, I got it when it had 141000 miles last month, it's leaking from the rear main seal where the transmission meets, and from the vavle cover gasket, should I change the transmission fluid on it and put in the at 205 resealer so it stops leaking out the tyranny. I'll just keep adding oil for now

Is the engine oil leak from the valve cover, reaching the ground?

It's not clear whether you're talking about an engine seal or a transmission seal. "Rear main seal" means engine but then you say you want to stop a transmission leak?

You can try AT-205 and see if it helps. In general it is a temporary bandaid and whether it works or not depends on whether the seal is damaged. Some people have reported good success with the product.

AT-205 will not help leaking valve cover gaskets. To stop the leak they would need to be replaced.
