- Hey Scotty I have a 97 Celica st coupe with the 1.8 I recently put on aftermarket wheels now my power steering belt squeals but only In park and reverse It is fine driving , I did change the belt before the new wheels do you think it's the belt or the wheels , I enjoy the Celica and you influenced me to buy it

Make sure power steering fluid is topped up. Change the belt that runs the power steering pump and make sure it is properly tensioned.
