Hey scotty I have a 97 5.7 silverado with 160k miles. When I start It there's a ticking noise that sounds like it's coming from from under the engine towards the back. It does it when I start it and especially on cold starts. After it warms up it goes away. It runs fine after that but when ever I start it again even with the engine warm it does it again. What could it be ?

Make sure that the oil level is good. If the level is ok, for your next oil change, add Lucas oil additive. Hope it helps the situation.
