good deal or nah? it has the V6 automatic trans, 54k miles. they want $4,900
54k miles
What proof does the seller have?
Still, I’d pass for almost $5000..
Maybe if the price was half that and you were just going to use it as a spare vehicle to knock around with.
So those 90's lesabres were built like absolute tanks, and if a grandma was driving it around town (very possible considering the mileage) it could go a long time. The weak point of those cars were the transmissions, the 3.8 would burn it up if it was driven hard. However, the cars almost 25 years old, idc how well a car was made, at that age theres a good chance things are leaking/ just worn from old age. If it runs & shifts fine, and you dont see any oil leaks from the valve covers or back of the engine, id do no more than 4k. (thats not much for a car anymore)
Does it have the 3.8 V6? If so those were one of the best engines they ever made. There transmissions were fine too in ever one I ever owned. All these should I buy questions are always the same everyone always says no. I would consider it if they come down on the price some but that depends on how bad you need a car. Just keep in mind its 25 years old.
