In my search for a vehicle I found a ‘98 Ford F-150 with 94k miles on it. From the pictures there are two visible rust spot on the rear and side, but seem to be contained. I’m planning to look at it soon, but was wondering if it was worth it. Any thoughts? It apparently had 2 owners prior to being turned in at a dealership.

Rust spots are seldom "contained". If you can already see them from the outside, then the inside is 10x worse.

Could be good, could be junk. I've seen cars with only a couple spots of rust - because they Bondo-d over all the major rust. Bring a magnet.
