Had a major misfire on cylinder 6. Unplugged the egr and no misfires. And runs good. Any major issues with leaving it unplugged?

EGR is an anti-pollution equipment generally they run better without them but technically it is against the law

Mis fire returned. Now thinking lower intake gaskets. And possibly a new spider injector. Do my symptoms sound like intake gaskets starting to fail. Ghank you for your help and info.
