99 Chrysler Dodge caravan 2.4L
Hi Scotty love watching your videos, I wanted to ask a question about my 99 Chrysler caravan 2.4L well I just recently bought a 99 Chrysler Dodge 2.4L when I bought it the van ran great, nice and smooth, well apparently the water pump needed to be replaced so the guy I bought it from he did give me a brand new one but unfortunately I was on my own as far as installing it, I was told that it was gonna be a slap it in quick job but I was lied to because this has been a nightmare I'm paying more for parts and repairs than I am the van!! Its crazy!! Any how I never in million years thought that I'd be stuck on this project for about 3 weeks now, long story short so my fiance put the water pump back in and also changed the thermostat which was all rusted and carrioded so the thing is to get to the water pump you have to move around a few things and put them back together, I had a question on how many belts are in that particular area? There's the serpentine and the timing belt, why when I went to O'Reilly's they gave me 3 belts? Is there three belts or just 2? ⁹
If you're going to be dealing with 27-year-old Dodges you have to expect problems. Hopefully you did not pay too much for them and don't expect them to have much more life left in them. Mileage? (As requested in the posting instructions.)
